Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)


CIL is a land tax that can add significant costs to even the most innocuous of developments. 

 

We would advise anyone beginning a project to consider their possible CIL liability and whether they could be eligible for an exemption. 


We are experienced with helping our clients apply for CIL exemptions for a wide range of projects. To date, our biggest single exemption was for a value in excess of £200,000.
